Soprano

Winner of first prize in the Paris International Music Competition (2024), first prize in the London Classical Music Competition (2024), and recipient of the Opéra de Baugé Gil-Rodriguez Award (2022), a Melofonetica scholarship (2023) and a special mention in the Edith Poulsen Singing Prize (2024), I graduated in 2022 with distinction in my MMus singing training from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. I am an interdisciplinary performer, singing both operatic and lyric/legit musical theatre repertoire. As of 2024 I am also an Associate Artist of Oxford Opera Society. Summer 2024 I was grateful to be supported by the Nicholas Boas Charitable Trust, Help Musicians UK, and the Mario Lanza Foundation in my various projects. I am excited to join Opera Greenwich as one of their funded artists on the Artist Development Programme for the 2024-5 season at Greenwich Theatre.

I have a passion for creating and performing original theatre, particularly multidisciplinary and mixed media work, and experience as principal performer in “choreoperas” and live art installations. Related interests & skills include opera libretto translation, libretto writing and setting texts to original operatic and song work, French language coaching for singers, and singing teaching/leading workshops. I also do acting work, including as a voiceover artist, and often combine my singing skills with dancing in productions. I worked as Barbara Hannigan’s assistant, working on tours and organising auditions for Equilibrium Young Artists, Barbara’s flagship mentoring initiative. We co-wrote an article together, which can be found in this book. During my undergraduate degree at University of Oxford I had a double choral scholarship, and as a child I sang in the choruses of London’s West End theatres and opera houses.

Feel free to peruse my YouTube channel, where I post my most recent audition tapes, or follow me on Instagram, where I often post updates on my musical projects.
